Stretchers and Ice-breakers

How do you improve the effectiveness and creativity of a group working together at a conference?  Quite simply, to provide them "time out" to exercise both body and mind has boundless positive effects on overall work results and performance.
We are not talking about large chucks of precious conference time either, as a break of even a few hours can achieve the necessary results.  Tough physical feats with all the puffing are also not required...not even recommended!  Effectiveness stems from a carefully planned series of activities designed to engage the group in creative problem-solving that also gets individuals stepping out of their "modes".

The world's largest companies, such as Coca Cola, have long recognised the power of taking time out to refresh and revitalise the creative force in a group.  Using the appropriate activities, members of a work-intensive group gain opportunities to exercise right and left brain functions as well as reactivate their imaginations, leading to improved ideas and solutions back at the conference table.

A variety of ingenious stretchers and ice-breakers are available for selection according to the nature and needs of the group.  As ice-breakers, the activities serve to prepare the group for the upcoming conference and dissolve some of the major inhibitions leading up to collaborative work.
